I can see that I need to move the belt ~4-6 steps to make them even, but it's not obvious to me how to actually do that without taking apart the assembly. The tension is too tight to allow me to simply pull the belt over the steps in the sprocket.
There's an E-ring holding the white plastic parts close together, but it seems that if I remove that it may not give me enough room to pull out the belt and then the E-ring may deform while I pry it out. However is removing the E-ring and pulling apart the white plastic part the only way to go?
