Topic: Problems with an STL file

So I want to print some little rats..just basic almost 2D rats...But Slic3r keeps making me sit the rats on their thinnest edge.  I just want to print them flat.  When I slice them in slic3r laying flat, it gives me some realllly screwy paths that are in no way rat shaped.  When I sand them on end...no problem, except for the 1.5 hr print time.

Try running your STL file thru netfabb to repair it.
