Topic: odd homing problem

This just started. It used to home in the right place when I clicked home. Now it has strange behavior. When I home now it only homes the y axis about in the middle. Then if i click home several more times y homes but X just moves to the left. I can manually set it home tho and it prints ok.It does the same in RH and Pronterface, so I was thinking it might be a board issue(sang 1.4)I do plan to upgade the board real soon.

May be time to upgrade. But spit balling here, Check for faulty wiring on the stepper, check v-ref voltage, try another USB cable.  Does it move fine with the manually x/y commands?

Re: odd homing problem

Have you ever looked at a problem  and just couldn't see the "forest for the trees"? That is my case this time. From where I was sitting I didn't see that the bottom wire had broken off from the limit switch. It hadn't  fallen down as the wire was too stiff and looked ok, long story short all is well now.
