Topic: Should my wood support be like this?

My feed screw spins freely when inside the nipple, but after attaching the flanges and wood support, it doesnt spin.  The nut of the collar screw is catching on the wood support.
The hole of the wood support is shown in the attached pics. Should it have that ridge on the inside of both sides, part of the design?  That is what the collar screw catches on, should I sand those away?

Yup, you can sand that down. That ridge means the jig slipped, and that one should have been scrapped but apparently made it through.

I can send another one if needed, but sandpaper or a dremel would be a faster fix.

Ok, I wasn't sure if that was a functional part of the design or not.  I have a dremel, so I'll just use that.  Thanks!
