He's referring to the body of the ebay post. It references Solidoodle at best buy.

You can buy them online, but they aren't in stores at this point.

Select Best Buys will be carrying printers in the computer section in December. From what I read, they will be displaying Da Vinci.
BB, Staples, and a few other chains have at least sold filament if not the occasional printer on their sites since the spring. Next year, Michaels will begin carrying the Up

And that is the biggest rip. Last I checked, SD sells the 4 for $600.

Printit Mason and Printit Horizon printers
Multiple SD2s- Bulldog XL, E3D v5/v6/Lite6, Volcano, Hobb Goblin, Titan, .9 motor, Lawsy carriages, direct Y drive, fishing line...the list goes on
Filawinder and Filastruder #1870.....worth every penny!

Yeah, Michaels seems like an odd pick if you ask me. I always thought Home Depot was a slightly better match. I wouldn't count on retailers being super adventurous with their filament picks for now.

A lot of Stores are selling printers through there "On line stores" Walmart, best buy, home depot, micro center, Tiger direct and probably a few more. Brands and models are varied of course.  The only one I have seen that actually has printers and filament  in the store is Micro Center. I am sure this varies with store location .

Re: Best Buy now "stocks" solidoodles?

Michaels does seem a bit odd but I guess a small printer like the UP would go well with crafting. No more buying stencils, letters or little plastic accents like snowflakes, hearts and shamrocks. You could make buttons and maybe even zippers with a 3d printer.

I'm more surprised that it's Michaels and not Hobby Lobby. HL seems to have a slightly broader range of products so you'd think they'd get on the 3d bandwagon before Michaels did.

Anyway, it would be nice to have a place or two I could just go buy filament instead of having to e-bay or mail order it.
