Topic: strange new problem

First I am using my old sang 1.2 board.I flashed the firmware as I changed thermistors. That seemed to where the trouble started. Now when load an object and slice it , it shows up in the gcode window correctly but when it starts to print it's on half size and only prints in the upper right quadrant .I have looked at the config H again and can't see any thing that might cause that.

Did you check the firmware settings? I've found that flashing firmware always seems to make the code reset the eeprom. All my tweaks to calibration would disappear when I put new firmware on the system. (Though printing half size seems extreme, but maybe the steps/mm are half size :-).

I am doing some further testing. I just noticed that I can only move the the extruder manually in a 4in. x 4in. pattern That looks like my problem. It happened once before, I can't remember what I did to correct it.

Is it the steps / mm?

Re: strange new problem

yep that was it,  in EEprom config I doubled the x/y steps. Odd tho as I never had to do that before.THX
