Ok heres my thing. just got a piece of 1/4 inch pyrex for the bed. the size clips i need to keep it on there are WAY to big and cause problems. so my though was to make an abs frame with an door on the front to slide the glass out of when i need to. i figure that abs needs 221 to melt and the bed with never go above 100 so this should work correct?
I used to use clips but now I just use hair spray on the underside of the glass, works well no slipping.
I've used an ABS platform for my heatbed that has a QU-BD heatpad right on top that generally runs at 95°C. So far I do not see any problems with it at all, and I have had in on there for several months.

That passes the heat through the abs ok???
The heater lays between the ABS parts and the glass.
