Topic: Where can I get an Aluminum Platform for my Solidoodle 2?

As I bide my time waiting for the Press to ship, I've been rehabing my Solidoodle 2.  Ith has the original wooden (I think) platform  holding the build plate, which has begun to sag.  I'm fairly certain that I saw an aluminum replacement on Solidoodle's website a while back, but now I can't find it.

To be clear, what I'm looking for is analogous the part called "Aluminum Platform - SD3 & SD4" on the SOlidoodle website, but for a Solidoodle 2.

Do these exist?  Was I dreaming?  Will the Solidoodle 3/4 part work?  Does anyone know where I can get one?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

SD no longer offers the SD2 platforms. I just purchased one from another user out of shear luck.
If you were to use an SD3/4 platfrom, you would have to shave off a few inches from the front, re-drill holes for the bed screws to anchor, and I could not say if the Z rods are the same distance apart on all models...another user would have to confirm that.

On the plus side, I fully intend to measure the platform before installing so I can design a (mostly) printed platform for SD2 users. smile

Printit Mason and Printit Horizon printers
Multiple SD2s- Bulldog XL, E3D v5/v6/Lite6, Volcano, Hobb Goblin, Titan, .9 motor, Lawsy carriages, direct Y drive, fishing line...the list goes on
Filawinder and Filastruder #1870.....worth every penny!
