Topic: XYZWare fails to export

Hi all.

I'm trying to print a battery holder that I found on thingiverse (456900)
I used scad to generate an STL (triple-D cell configuration) and all looks good when I import into XYZware.

When I export to .3w the serpentine springs are missing in the rendered model...WTH?!?!
I've tried many quality options, with and without rafting/supports, without success.

I've tried the latest xyzware (1.32, IIRC) and also 1.30.
1.30 took a LONG time to slice but eventually came up with the same result.

Any suggestions to try to make XYZware behave?

Run your STL thru modelrepair.azurewebsites.net but the larger issue could be that Slic3r isn't that great for complex stuff and xyzware uses slic3r.

I just discovered that site here on this forum a few minutes ago.
I was able to get a good export from XYZware after using the STL repair service.
