Topic: Gap in KISSlicer?

Is the support gap setting in KISSlicer a vertical gap between the support material and the piece of the object it's supporting or a horizontal gap between the column of support and the side of the object?  I'm guessing if it's a vertical gap you want the number as small as possible correct?

Re: Gap in KISSlicer?

It's the horizontal gap.  You want the support to be clear from the sides, but close enough that the thread won't droop going from the side to the support.  Given that bridging isn't KISSlicer's strong point right now, you want to keep that gap small.
