Topic: Newest Soldidoodle S4 Extruders not feeding filament

I just got one of the latest models with the new extruder. I believe the gear is new as well, since its has shallow teeth and is sunken in the middle like a notch for the filament. Anyways I cannont get it to feed consistently. If I watch the print as it is feeding and I see the gear move but not the bearing I can push down on the filament and it will catch and feed for awhile. Ive added some material in the spring holders to give it more tension and when that kinda worked I just put the lever as far as it would go against the filament and tightened the screw. This seems to have mostly fixed the problem but Ive still had it fail to feed at one point or another and if Im not watching it there goes the print. Im on try #4 of the spool mount with the latest mod and seeing where that gets me.

What I would really like is just the old feeder setup because it worked great. Is anyone having this problem as well?

1) Check the gear and bearing if they are aligned up?
2) Clean the filament dust;
3) When extruding temp reached 215C while, to feed filament.
Last one, you may have to adjust motor torque, but I am
Not sure you know how to do it?
