Topic: Another Wiring Solution - Round Wire Conduit

I made this modification to my machine earlier this week and so far I like it. Previously used the wire chain mod, but grew frustrated with the loss of printing space.

Pretty simple mod holds 3/8" round conduit purchased from local auto parts store.

E3D-v4 Hotend, MK5 carriage with round plastic wire conduit , 3/16" tempered glass,  Well nut, SureStepr SD8825 1/32 Extruder Driver, PowerEdge 2650 500W PS, QU-BD heated bed, circuit board fan, hinged plexiglass enclosure with plastic tray top. Other than that mostly stock SD3

It is, and working really well for me though I've only put about 10 hours on the printer since making the mod. If you go this route just make sure to leave enough conduit through the back of the machine so that it can't twist and end up sagging.

Nice work, looks clean. I've been printing the links i need to use the Wire chain guild. Question how do you have your glass held down; Blue painters tape?

It's Lawsy's clamping bed for silicone heated beds (thing:64607). It's customized to accommodate a 10x10 sheet of tempered glass. You can see the clamps on the back side. The painters tape on the underside is a guide to center it and still close my plexi doors.
