Topic: What is more important?
A question for the peanut gallery....
Tonight while looking thru some things that I need to print, I noticed a couple
things after slicing them....
Oddly, after slicing at .3mm layer height and 10% infill, I got a filament usage of 34532mm
compared to .4mm layer height and 15% infill at 38461mm of strand....
I would have thought that print less layers (with the .4mm height) would have saved
me much more strand than .3mm.... but no...
The .4mm layer did have a much quicker print time by 15 minutes....
So the question.... when printing object... what is the BEST way to conserve strand and
still get quality parts that are sturdy?????
Thicker perimeters and less infill.... higher layer heights? What???
Let me know!
