			<description><![CDATA[<p>You still need the same amount (ish) of plastic to cover that vertical space.&nbsp; So, 0.1mm layer height will use approximately the same amount of material for the outside surface as 0.4mm layer height.</p><p>Where you save material is by reducing infill, top and bottom layer thickness and number of perimiters.</p><p>It all comes down to structural integrity vs. print speed and material savings.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>A question for the peanut gallery....</p><p>Tonight while looking thru some things that I need to print, I noticed a couple<br />things after slicing them....</p><p>Oddly, after slicing at .3mm layer height and 10% infill, I got a filament usage of 34532mm<br />compared to .4mm layer height and 15% infill at 38461mm of strand....</p><p>I would have thought that print less layers (with the .4mm height) would have saved<br />me much more strand than .3mm.... but no... </p><p>The .4mm layer did have a much quicker print time by 15 minutes....</p><p>So the question.... when printing object... what is the BEST way to conserve strand and <br />still get quality parts that are sturdy?????</p><p>Thicker perimeters and less infill.... higher layer heights?&nbsp; &nbsp;What???</p><p>Let me know!</p><p>Cujo</p>]]></description>
