Topic: hotend always on
I recently soldered headers to my sanguinololu in anticipation of adding a gcode controlled fan to my solidoodle. After a few bad prints caused by a badly seated power supply, I started up the solidoodle for another print. The temperature on the hotend shot up to about 230 degrees before I noticed. It seems okay so far (nothing melted off but I havent tried extruding yet) but I can't figure out what is causing the hotend to be stuck powered on. If I plug in either connection labeled "ET" on the bottom or "F" the temperature starts to rise. Did I short something while soldering? are one of the metal standoffs shorting something in the back of the board?
