Topic: Greasing the rods
I think the front rod on my carriage could use some grease. It certainly looks dry. What kind should I use?

What do you have ? IMHO if you have some grease with PTFE use it. I rubbed on some krytox grease but that is expensive to go out and buy. . if you need to buy grease a tube of lucas lithium grease from home depot should do the job. I am new to this game but have several lubes from other hobbies. I would think and good quality lube that sticks to the rod should be fine. You may want to look at the maintenance section of the SD web sight for suggestions.

Remember, a little goes a long way. Don't cake it on there.
I got a 10 oz tube of Sta-Lube super white either at Wal-Mart or Auto-zone I think was a few bucks but will likely out last the printer lol
