Topic: Print head suddenly "suddering"

I've been using an S4 for some time now, not had any issues fine tuning didn't correct. However, in the past few days, the print head "shudders" harshly on the back end of a circle print (the front end towards the front of the printer is fine, the back end towards the back of the printer generates a shudder).

This causes the print to be wavy ~ not consistent. The entire printer vibrates during the shudder effect.

Do the rails simply need to be lubricated? If so, what type of grease is suggested?

Sounds more like a bed leveling issue.  But you can use a little lithium grease on things.

Printit Industries Model 8.10 fully enclosed CoreXY, Chamber heat
3-SD3's & a Workbench all fully enclosed, RH-Slic3r Win7pro, E3D V6, Volcano & Cyclops Hot End
SSR/500W AC Heated Glass Bed, Linear bearings on SS rods. Direct Drive Y-axis, BulldogXL
Thanks to all for your contributions

Ok, I'll take a look at the threads here on checking bed leveling too.

Thanks for the reply.
