Topic: A tip for the perfect print!

No matter what I did, adjusted VREF, belt tension/alignment, leveling bed, flowrate and probably a few more magical fixes I could never get my prints to look awesome.
But, I found something that's never mentioned anywhere for some reason. The belt for the X-axis, it's only the Y-axis that every tutorial or magical fix touches.
I noticed that this belt was really wobbly. There's a screw on the side of it so you can adjust the belt, so I tightened it and now the extruder doesn't wiggle/wobble/move and everything looks great.

No idea why I always overlooked this one belt, or why it's never mentioned. But yeah, just wanted it out there. It's good for you.

Yup, good tip - the x does get overlooked relative to the y, but to minimise backlash you do need to keep both nice and snug!
I've also put bearings into my right y-carriage in place of the pulley-around-bolt bushing so it runs even smoother.
