Topic: Extruder stopped extruding smooth, now "steps"

I was going to change filament, and I noticed when I was retracting that the extruder wasn't "smoothly" retracting but it would do .1mm steps about 2/sec. Before it wasn't stepping at all, it all just went smooth and pretty quick.
When printing there's no problem, it extrudes the right amounts and retracts without stepping.

So, pretty sure it's not bust since it only misbehaves when I manually retract and extrude. What could cause this?

Did you change the numbers in the boxes next to the manual extrude buttons?

Wow, I'm retarded... Yeah, I checked the numbers right next to the extrude and retract but I completely missed the "mm/min". It was set to 1.
May I never breed.
