Topic: Firmware update problem on Solidoodle 3

I need to update the firmware on my solidoodle3 printer to increase the maximum temperature for my new E3D hot-end.

I have downloaded Arduino 1.0.5 and the firmware "solidoodle2-marlin-Marlin_v1".   I select the ATmega1284p 16MHz board, but when i upload i get the following error:

solidoodle2-marlin-Marlin_v1

I don't know if i have the incorrect firmware (i still have the default motherboard - rev. E) or if i have some incorrect settings.

Re: Firmware update problem on Solidoodle 3

I have managed to get the file compiled and in my bootloader folder. I opened the case around the motherboard and found 3 sets of two boot pins.  Which ones do I jump?

So three different sets of pins have 'BOOT' printed next to them??? If so then you might have SD's newest controller board... I didn't know they switched already???

This warrants a picture I'd be curious to know if they changed boards.

For an update, apprently this type of board you don't need to move any boot pins.
