Topic: extruder wont come apart

i have the solidoodle 2 pro.. i took out all the screws that mount to the motor, but i have 2 screws left that i cant remove.. i cant remove these cause the tighting nuts are facing outwards (towards me) and i do not have access to the other end of the screws... how to i get to the other end of these dang screws so i can start taking this thing apart and fix the clog.........

If you look at the rear of the extruder carriage, you will see two philips head screws. the nuts you are seeing are attached to them. I had a hard time at first finding them.Shine a light up and under the rear of the extruder carriage.Hope this helps

SD3, E3D hotend,linear bearing on x/y axis',pillow block bearing on y conneting rod, ball bearngs on front y axis, fan on y stepper motor.

i think i saw these... dang kids not putting my tools back!!! i have to find my screwdriver :-/

You shouldn't have to take that off to fix a clog. Watch this video to get the hot end out. I took my extruder all of the way apart, cracking it in the process, just to find all I needed to do was in this video.
