Topic: Solidoodle Extruder Carriage

Hello Guys,

Anyone know where can I get the Extruder carriage printed out from? As you can see in the image, the hot end burnt my carriage pretty badly sad

There's no image.

Mine too, design flaw?

SD3, E3D hotend,linear bearing on x/y axis',pillow block bearing on y conneting rod, ball bearngs on front y axis, fan on y stepper motor.

Lawsy made some awesome replacement carriages and posted them here.

What hotend are you using?  Stock?

I haven't printed or tried any of them yet but I think I'm going to start today.
I'm pretty sure parts for the SD2 and 3 are the same. It's the belts and rods and such that are bigger but I believe the extruder and  carriages are the same.

Mine looks like that too, but it doesn't seem to change the performance, so I haven't bothered to replace it.  Switching to an E3D stops the hot end from rubbing on the carriage with its heat sink.
