Topic: Questions about my SD2. Help with jigsaw.

Hey everyone,
I 've had my SD2 for about 2 and a half weeks and had my first extruder jam. I got it fixed and long story short I cracked my jigsaw. I want t print a new one asap but my question is what one should I print? MK4? MK5? It's only a couple weeks old but I 'm not sure witch one to print and swap out. I don't want to used the cracked one any more than I have too. Thanks in advance.

The MK5 works great with the stock hotend.

Only need to print the top guide, hot end clip and the body to start.  You can use the tension arm from your jigsaw as that will work with the Mk5

Sorry for intruding Antron, Figured it was more efficient than starting a new thread...

Does the MK5 need any extra bolts or parts? Or can the SD parts be reused on it?

This is a crowd funding thing that I'm running: http://www.gofundme.com/bvi140 It's for pretty selfish reasons tongue

I used all OEM parts, though one of the screws in the filament guide is longer than necessary. Performance doesn't seem to suffer.

@Serin - You're not intruding by any means my friend. Everything that @cckens said in this thread is correct. I figured it all out last night before I came back to the forums to see he added all of those little tips. But it's good to have them posted. Thanks again @cckens. It's working like a charm wink  Check mine out at http://www.thingiverse.com/make:70532.
