Re-adjusted the x belts and rods.  x isn't as smooth and easy as the y.  Out of curiosity, should I lube / oil where the drive shaft for the x axis goes out the side of the case, through the brass bearing?

I do not have a fan permanently mounted but i  have a 120mm fan, connected to a pc power supply, blowing on the board.

Yes lube those up FYI those are the Y-Axis drive shaft  bushings that you are referring to.
