very cool nice job
haaaa my FPV plane need a little test of this pan tilt..
nice
You could gyro stabilize that mount too so it stays where you move it. -- ggunners
thanks!
As for gyro stabilization, its going to be hooked up to a head tracker, so technically.. well, I guess it doesn't count haha
An if the person with the head tracker has been consuming beverages, they may be the ones that need stabilization. ![]()
What's the total weight of the mount before camera and batteries, with all servos and cables? And are the files available or are you selling this?
Total weight without camera/batteries comes out to about 130g. Slightly heavier then normal pantilts (my wooden kit from readymadeRC is around 100) but I'm willing to trade 30g of weight for metal gear servos, full bearings, aerodynamic casings that are way more durable and protective, and no exposed wires.
I can give you the STL files if you want, but keep in mind you need 3 different bearings and 2 servos. I ordered several packs of each type needed so if you want I can build/sell one to you. Or I can give you the parts list and STL files. Your choice. ![]()
Very cool. I think the folks here would love to see the .stl files and a BOM (parts list). That way more people that have the RC hobby along with 3D printing will benefit. Thanks for offering. -- ggunners
I like this! Did you have to drill out the plates and parts after printing or were you able to print all the holes?
I printed all the holes slightly small on purpose so the screws tap in nicely. Others needed slight sanding.
