Topic: Bad ABS from Solidoodle?

When I received my SD2 in November, I also had 2 spools from SD...1 black and 1 red.
Black, after much calibration and frustration, was able to print fairly well. Now, after 3 months, I broke open the red ABS to try to print stronger pieces PLA cannot offer. Had about 10 failed prints, and all of them have a dark orange for color.

I know ABS has a duller look to it before finishing...but ORANGE? I have more experience with PLA, and this is my first "color" ABS, so I apologize if this is a moronic question.

What temp are you using? I had a roll of red that I got with my printer and it was actually red.

Re: Bad ABS from Solidoodle?

I'm running 204/100. About to try 195/100.
It also took the black about 5 mins to dissolve in acetone, but it took the this red batch about 3 HOURS!...which is what tipped me off something may be wrong.
