Topic: e3d/qu-bd bed and sanguinololu traces

Hi guys,
  quick question, how much current at 12 volts can the Sanguinololu take? I'd love to avoid soldering as I'm horrible at it, and the power supply in this tutorial: http://www.soliwiki.com/Upgrade_The_Power_Supply would be more than enough to run an e3d hotend with the 6" qu-bd pad. Can the board actually support that load though? and failing that, what about hooking the heated bed directly to the PSU and the mosfet? would that obviate the need for a relay?

I'm running a 750W power supply to a stock Sanguinololu, and it powers up a QU-BD heater and an upgrade hot end with a 40W heater cartridge.

No problems there.

To print or, 3D print, that is the question...
SD3 printer w/too many mods,  Printrbot Simple Maker Ed.,  FormLabs Form 1+
AnyCubic Photon, Shining 3D EinScan-S & Atlas 3D scanners...
...and too much time on my hands.

I have my 8" QU-BD silicone heated bed attached to the MOSFET Tab and upgraded power supply because I heard a rumor about some weak traces on the Sanguinololu. Not running this on my Solidoodle and haven't had any problems.  The alternative was to solder some wires on the board and I wasn't going to do that.
