Topic: Prints start popping off at 3 layers in

I have a solidoodle 2 base model (non heated bed) and after only a few layers in the print it starts to lift off the bed  I have painters tape on it to help it stick but it still doesnt hold.Please any alternative would be great.

im also using abs plastic could that be the problem?

Yep. ABS is virtually impossible to print without a heated bed. You'll want to switch to PLA (making sure to lower the extruder temps) or install a bed heater (which will give you the chance to get a good one rather than the rather feeble one that solidoodle ships on the pro model).
