Topic: Repetier Freezing after I hit Run Job.

Had my printer working like a charm this afternoon. Now every time I hit the print button, it gets in to position and freezes. The temp setting also at the same time stop updating and I am unable to move the build plate. I have to unplug the printer from the power and my computer and reset everything before I am able to connect again.. and then it just happens again.

I'm about to Hulk smash something. sad

That sucks!!! let's work through it instead of smashing things and making it worse.
Any chance you have a bad connection?  You did after all just redo some of those.

It was working just fine this afternoon after I talked to you earlier.. So, I have unplugged and plugged the USB back in because I thought it might be a connection issue.. It would reconnect fine after restarting the whole setup. I turn on the extruder and the bed.. then I slice my file. Then when everything is up to temp I hit run job. It centers up like it's about to print. Then it just freezes there. It no longer shows the temps changing but I am still able to hit the buttons on Repetier. So it seems like it must be a connection issue. I disconnected the motherboard to look at the connections and they all seem fine but maybe I didn't do a good enough job. I don't understand how that would be the problem because I had just finished a print and then left for a couple hours.

I also soldered all my connections together and then taped over them with electrical tape so... I have no idea. I guess we will take it all apart and check them all again. Probably not tonight though. To frustrated right now! Ughh!

One thing is though, if I wiggle the power cable a little the lights will flash like there is a bad connection there. So that is a bit of a concern.. but it did that earlier too.

I would focus on that connection first.  I don't doubt that you did the others the correct way.  I would focus on the power supply side of things before you tear all your hard work apart.  It may even be your power supply itself and a quick and easy thing to do is try a quick print without the bed heater on.  The print itself won't be good but you can tell if you are running into a supply issue as it draws the most current.

Well.. It magically started working yesterday with no issues.. I'm going to go ahead and upgrade the power supply just in case that was issue. Thanks for the help and when I am not so busy with school I'll post some pictures of our prints.
