Topic: Can you pick up a print where the machine left off?

I am still working out problems with my machine (SD2 Heated bed) Losing connection mid print.  I am widdling out programs I don't need I double checked my windows power save settings and I have an uber awesome USB cable on the way that is shielded and short.

I was wondering though say it quit on layer 83 and I got everything reconnected is there a way to go in the G code and start from layer 84 and keep going?  I could do that on a CNC mill if I wanted to should be possible on a Solidoodle right?

Thanks

Yes you can.  A while back I did a little tutorial for someone who wanted to remove a part from a failed print, then pick up where he left off.

Read through this and see if it makes sense to you.

To print or, 3D print, that is the question...
SD3 printer w/too many mods,  Printrbot Simple Maker Ed.,  FormLabs Form 1+
AnyCubic Photon, Shining 3D EinScan-S & Atlas 3D scanners...
...and too much time on my hands.
