Topic: Calibration Help

Hello,
Based on the picture attached, what can I do to get the filament to form together, because it looks like there are holes/gaps in between each line of filament. Thanks

(also how do you add the pictures directly into the post)

Re: Calibration Help

have you done any calibration at all?

first you want to calibrate your extuder steps per min. from the shop they over extrude by about 20%
                      http://solidoodletips.wordpress.com/201 … libration/

then you want to measure your filament at a few spots then average it out and then find your extrusion multiplier

my internet is screwy and isnt loading your picture but gaps between lines if everything else is calibrated usually means you need to bring your nozzle closer to the bed

lots of good stuff on that wordpress helped me alot when i got started

Re: Calibration Help

good that sounds about right. did that extrusion multiplier get you all sorted out? dont forget you might need to bring your bed up a tiny bit.

Re: Calibration Help

Hey, Thank you so much, its perfect now, the multiplier before i calibrated it was .6, and after calibration it is .79, and another thing that affected it was that i had 8 minimum perimeters for some reason. Thanks again.
