Re: SERIOUS problems with Azteeg X3

Get a multimeter that reads resistance so you can test the thermistor independently of the board and verify that it is not the problem.  If switching them back and forth between the bed and extruder doesn't work, and the thermistors aren't damaged, then it seems like a problem with the board.  If you have an extra one lying around you could even try plugging its legs directly into the terminals and see what happens.

Re: SERIOUS problems with Azteeg X3

Good idea ^^  or if you happen to have a 100K resistor laying around use it instead to see if the board is seeing that pin.

Re: SERIOUS problems with Azteeg X3

No resistors laying around but i tried another thermistor and it gave the same readings in repetier host. I contacted panucatt devices, i guess ill see what they say.

The bulldog works awesome get your printer running.  I have been "feeling your pain" all the way through your troubles.  If Ian can't get you up and running no one can.  I wish you the best of luck.

I ordered a RUMBA last week, got it literally 1.5days after I ordered it with the basic FedEx Int'l option (blown away that it went from HK to my house so fast.)  I have been testing it on my desk, but had no problems programming it on my Linux desktop (was amazed how easy.)  After reading your perils, I even grabbed one of the thermistors that came with it and connected it to test it without a problem.  Waiting for a bit more wire to come in to finish hooking it up.

I also was amazed at how quickly it came.  I think it was something like 3 days some companies just understand service.

Whats in the basic wiring kit?

Re: SERIOUS problems with Azteeg X3

A bunch of wires with labeled ends.  That is just the one I bought but you could choose something else.
If you want I can post a picture of everything I got this evening when I get home from work.

I modified a RUMBA case from Thingiverse, and added mounting holes for the stock holes on the SD3.  I have not yet printed it, so haven't tested it yet.  I can share it if interested, but again, it's untested hence I haven't posted it up yet smile

I'm running the Marlin firmware without a problem.  Had it talking to Repetier in a few mins, however going to use Octoprint with it.

I just got it here just before the holidays and haven't had a chance to install it yet.  Still in the box but when I started to look at options I talked to Adrian and this is what he uses and recommended.
What are you doing with the Azteeg will they refund your money?

Re: SERIOUS problems with Azteeg X3

Panucatt devices still has t gotten back to me. Verry poor customer service. I definitely won't be recommending them to anyone. They don't stand behind their products.

Rumba from china got here in a day and a half very cool.i can recommend them!
