Topic: It finally happened. The clogged nozzle.
Had my SD2 for 14 months, been using Octave filament mostly, with the exception of the clear stuff from Zen Toolworks. But I just got some gray stuff from XSource as a gift, and 2 hours into a 3.5 hour print, I got a clog.
Took apart the jigsaw, and took off the nozzle thanks to the help of the sticky on this here fine forum. Didn't have a guitar string, but I did have a hypodermic needle! (Hey, people collect all sorts of things, medical supplies happens to be my thing!)
So my question now is, now that I'm up and running again, I'm going to print out Lawsy's MK5 Jigsaw replacement, I'm wondering do I have to account for shrinkage by upscaling the parts, or was it designed with that in mind? For those that have printed it, does it fit perfectly when printed from an SD? I don't want to have to print it again if I don't have to.
Also, amazon dot com has agreed to refund the cost of the used roll! That's awesome!
