Topic: Unresponsive Printer and Host

hello,

I have left my solidoodle for a month in my office.

This morning whenI tryed to recalibrat it. I found that after about 3-4 command via the repetitor host, the printer stop responding and the host freeze.

if I reset the printer it unfreeze the host. but I lose the Com port too. I have to reset again the printer in order to get it then I have to re launch the host.

Then I have about 6-7 commande and it's back to square 1

is my printer fried ?

(the bug spawn when I switch the bed heat on. I lose the host and the bed keep on heating.)

I had the same problem. It ended up I needed a new mother board. My comm port would show up in windows but repetiere could not communicate with the board.

I have asked support. they told me that it must be the USB cable. because I'm not at home I cannot try with a new one but I'm kinda sceptik.

I think that it is the motherboard too. Especialy the Bad termistor controler.

anyway in a week I will know more.
