I'm confused..  What is this exactly? lol

I just saw a video with a bunch of portal style animations and sounds ripped from the game, and a bunch of 3D printing open source buzzwords..

Re: 3D Printing innovation

happypony has an indiegogo coming up for something that looks like a combination of Thingiverse and Makexyz.  The kind of thing someone tries to start up once a week, using the usual fake 3rd party promotion.   I'm guessing that is what it is, because the tease is so vague.  It might be more intriguing if such a thing didn't already exist.  At this point the concept is old hat so people who want to do that kind of thing need to do it differently and better, rather than simply do it at all.

If someone doesn't have enough confidence to believe they can generate interest in their project posting as the project's owner, then I can hardly have much confidence in their ability to complete the project.

"I need to generate interest in my crowd funding project, but I am ashamed of it.  I will tell people about it, but pretend it's not mine."

I dont understand why you need to crowdfund something like thingiverse.

In about 6 hours of work I had a basic thingiverse style site working. I just need to find time to finish the rest of it.

Re: 3D Printing innovation

The crowdfunding is probably for the bahamas vaction that is much needed after the week of extremely hard and tiresome programming to make the site.

Or hard and tiresome programming while in the bahamas.
