Topic: Slic3r

Just downloaded the latest version of slicer.  Weird thing is that I can use the slicer app to successfully slice an object, but if I run that same object through the repetier-host slic3r, it errors out.  I'm thinking that repetier is accessing a previous version.  How do I fix this?

Re: Slic3r

Go to the Slic3r tab, and select Setup:

Select Browse, and navigate to the executable (.exe) of the new slic3r install in whatever folder you have it in:

Hit ok after that and give that a try.

The app or the console?

Re: Slic3r

Or you can simply rename the folder where you extracted the new version to Slic3r, and replace the existing Slic3r folder in the Repetier Folder, usually, "C:\Program Files\Repetier-Host Solidodle"

To print or, 3D print, that is the question...

...and too much time on my hands.
