Topic: Brown out Reset - losing power - heating issues?

Hey all, I got my SD3 a few days ago and finally fired it up today to start printing.  Things were going fine until my 2nd print where all of the sudden there was a "blip" where the internal light flickered and lost connection to the PC.  About 30 seconds later, the power on the unit went out all together.  I checked the power strip, everything else and it was all fine.  Then about a minute after that it came back online like nothing happened.

So moving on, I decided to do another print.  This time it happened where it was printing and after about 10 minutes it went out again.  I noticed on the Repetier a message "Brown Out Reset".

Fast forward....just tried again and this time it didn't even really get past the initial warm up and moving to the center of the bed before it went out.

Whats going on?  It acts like something is overheating, maybe the power supply?  I'm not using it even close to heavily yet.  I haven't modified anything, its stock out of the box.

Any suggestions?

Could be a bad power supply... SD has had a few of these in the past, you might try wiggling any ends of cords on the power brick and the machine itself but I would suggest you get ahold of SD support and let them know what it's doing just to see what they say.

My printer locks up occasionally and Repetiere can not talk to it until I close it and cycle power on the printer (including USB). Totally ruins my print. Maybe Ill change the power supply since I have several here.
