Topic: How to remove a finished print from the bed?

Hi all
I have finally managed to print my first item – jippppiii – after 2 years…puuhhh.

I find that the item is almost glued to the heated bed. What is the best method to remove the print?

- Should I cool down the bed and use my fingers to pull it out?
- Do I use a hammer and give it a bump so it come loose?
- Should I use a knife to put in-between the bed and the print and force it out?

Some feedback of how you do it without damaging the printer would be great.

Best regards Stein

Cool the bed, use razorblade or cricut spatula.

And search next time. This has been covered probably 50 times already.

Thank you elmoret - and your right - I should have done a search first.

convert to glass / mirror bed for less time waiting between prints to cool down before starting up again.

Slicer - Simplify3D
