Topic: Can i use this as a power source?

I bought a lot of suff in a auction of a bankrupt industrial maintnence company with the plan of selling it. I need a power supply for a prusa i3 im building, one of the parts I need is a power supply. Can I use the inverter as a power supply? (I don't know much about electronics)

Re: Can i use this as a power source?

No, you need a 12V DC power supply rated for at least 10 amps.

SD3 w/ mods:
Glass bed with QU-BD heat pad upgrade, threadless ballscrew w/ 8mm smooth rod, spectra line belt replacement, lawsy MK5 extruder, Lawsy replacement carriage, E3D hotend, Ramps 1.4 w/ reprap discount controller, DRV8825 drivers, 12v 30A PS, Acrylic case, Overkill Y-idlers, Filament alarm, Extruder fan + more.

I don't know, someone more familiar with these types of devices should probably chime in, but I downloaded the PDF manual and this thing looks like it was designed to power up a 3 phase motor, not output a simple "analog" DC voltage.

For those that want to check the manual here it is:

To print or, 3D print, that is the question...
SD3 printer w/too many mods,  Printrbot Simple Maker Ed.,  FormLabs Form 1+
AnyCubic Photon, Shining 3D EinScan-S & Atlas 3D scanners...
...and too much time on my hands.

Its a VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) used for 3 phase AC motors. It is used to control the speed of a motor by varying the frequency.
