And little do they know, that when they breathe a sigh of relief that they can start shipping, they'll merely be entering the wonderful world of support calls, returns, etc...
I preordered the day they opened the store for preorders, but I never expected they'd actually meet their estimated date. They have a booth scheduled for the CES show in January, and I'll wager they are really intent on being able to say they are shipping by then. At least their blog does make it look like real progress is being made.
Meanwhile, my stoopid Toyota keyfob once again set off the alarm when I sat down in the car today and it got caught in a fold of cloth in my pocket. My absolute #1 red-hot top priority when I finally get my scanner is to scan the dadgum thing and use the scan to build a shell model I can 3D print and slide over the fob to protect the buttons :-).
