Topic: Manual controls not moving printer, Home buttons work. Help

So i switched the jigsaw for Lawsy's Mk5. Plug everything back in and the RH arrows won't move the extruder in X or Y. Home buttons work fine.

I found a post somewhere that said if the thermistor is damaged then RH automatically blocks all motors from working. http://www.soliforum.com/topic/2081/ste … nual-mode/

I took it out and tested with an OHM meter and it all seems to be working. RH gives a extruder temperature reading when I plug it back in. It even changes as I put my finger on the thermistor end...so this proves that the thermistor is connected and working correctly.

So now I'm stuck. Not sure why the head isn't moving?

Did you type M119 to check the status of the switches?

Did you also try moving it in another program like cura, kiss slicer elec?

Powder coated steel enclosure, 1/4" Surface grounded hardened aluminum plate, MK2A Heat bed, .200 Polished fused quartz plate, Machined quick change hot bed mount, E3D hot end, Ramps 1.4, DRV8825 stepper motor drivers

Thanks for the suggestions. I installed Pronterface and tried. It said to reset using M999. I did that and it seems to have solved the problem. whew!
