Topic: Other heat pad options.

If i wanted the bed to heat up faster on my solidoodle 3 what are my options? Since the stock board i assume couldn't handle much more heat output, would i just use a meanwell power supply, and heater with a solidstate relay to turn the heater from on/off? anyone been there done that?

Seen these, not sure if there are better options out there.

Glass bed with QU-BD heat pad upgrade, threadless ballscrew w/ 8mm smooth rod, spectra line belt replacement, lawsy MK5 extruder, Lawsy replacement carriage, E3D hotend, Ramps 1.4 w/ reprap discount controller, DRV8825 drivers, 12v 30A PS, Acrylic case, Overkill Y-idlers, Filament alarm, Extruder fan + more.

How much better does this work? To integrate it into a solidoodle 3, how would i go about that? Would i use a relay to switch the larger power supply.
