Ok. I am slightly confused but I will give a quick rundown.

1. Disable all power saving features auto update features on your PC.

Now. this is what I do. (I'll throw in extra steps you can check.)

1. Open repieter and hit connect. Make sure the SD3 profile loads.
2. Go into your slicer settings and check extruder and bed start/default temps. I ran 205 and 95 on my stock doodle.
3. go to manual control and start the bed heater....
4. go find something to do for 10 mins.
5. when you bed is up to its default setting I then slice the model and check it out to make sure it looks ok.
6. Hit print. Your machine should auto home the printhead after the bed has reached its default temp. After it auto homes it will start the extruder heater. After the heater is up to temp your print will start.

Let me know if that helps at all.

One other thing to do is before you do anything else, connect to the printer and home all of the axis in the manual controls. Your printer may think its in a different position than it actually is after it has been reset/disconnected abnormally.

I was able to print with the SD3 for about a day and the process you described is what I did. But the last print job stopped in the middle and when I tried a new print the heat print bed would not heat up pass 47c.

Things have changed a little, now when I try to run a print job (with the print bed off) the extruder moves about 1mm (like a twitch really) and then stops. The extruder heater graphs stops dead, and commands that queuing up.

I actually sent 3 videos to SD support but all they have said thus far is to repeat the shut down process and check the communication speed. Sigh…
