Topic: First install serial error problem.

Hi guys,
I just posted the problem on the google group.


Didn't solve the problem.


On my xp machine I can recognize the printer (com 13) as a serial port.
I set the right port on the repetierhost, and nothing happens, I get lots of "command waiting", and this error on the bar :
"Errore Seriale COM :System.IO.Ports.SerialErrorReceivedEventArgs".

i ve installed all the drivers and softwares, and also the ftdi chip drivers

with no result.

I really need some help, have no idea of what could be the problem.

thanks, pcpoirier. any other idea? still have the problem, I updated to .Netframework 4.0 and changed the cable usb.
please help!!!!! i need to print!

This may help.  On my laptop (compaq presario v6000, windows XP) I can only use one usb port and if I plug in a wireless mouse, I will get a similiar message.  Try unplugging everything except what you need and see if that works. Good luck!

Thanks, micheal, i tried also before but the error shows up as I click on the connect button!! Does anybody had similar messagges? How did you solve it?

Hi guys, I ve just tried to change in the settings the printing baud, and now wonderfully it's working, I setted it at 250000!!!
