I suppose it does take time. but for me not more than a day. Maybe OP will have some luck though today smile.

This is why I use the failed first layer prints and nozzle drips.  smaller size means faster dissolve.  SD filament dissolves pretty well, as well as MG94 from a filastruder.

I can say with certainty that it was the plastic.

I added the scraps from my initial green ABS that came with the SD and it disolved in about 30 mins into the milky slurry that everyone talks about.

The Blue ABS blob is still just a solid lump of bubblegum.
