Based on the statistics in the table, your printer should be shipped within the next few weeks. Exciting :-)

Mine has apparently now hit customs.
well it hit customs on my birthday, so a little disappointing that I didn't get a super awesome birthday surprise, but it's good to know that there is at least something in the country!!

The ridiculous thing is, according to the tracking it left the factory on the 16th, (in NY) and it took until the 24th to reach the distribution centre also in NY!! (i.e. over a week) yes less than a week later it's arrived in customs!!

In other news, well in the news, tropical storms are apparently heading up to NY, are you guys going to close down the factory for a while? or do you see that this will impact production? - It's understandable if it does, but it might be nice to get a word out to your customers?

Worth the wait!

Received my bundle of joy today. Having a hard time focusing at work with the package sitting at my feet.

Upon initial opening, nothing appears broken (will have to wait until I get home to test it out). Packaging was actually half decent, I was expecting worse (though packing peanuts are the bane of my existence).

Did receive a good length of starter filament (looks to be about 20'). Did not receive an electronics cover and a couple of the bolts for the cover were missing (will have to check everything else more thoroughly when I have a chance). Also did not receive an extra piece of kapton (my memory from 20 weeks ago is a bit foggy, but I thought it said something about that in the "what's in the box" section when ordering, though it's not there now and they are selling extras in their store). Regardless, I think I got away pretty luckily, so I won't complain; the time it'd take with support wouldn't be worth it.

Very excited to get some prints out, the machine does look pretty nice. I have high hopes.

Congrats, but how did you get your order out-of-order?  I'm order 2564 from 7/6/2012 and it sounds like I'm *still* several weeks away from it shipping (and I've been stuck in the 'several weeks' for a while now.

I'm really surprised that no one else has posted this unsolicited email (my first!) from Solidoodle Support that I received on Friday afternoon.

Since my order is from the middle of August, I should have my Solidoodle in under a month (assuming that this Solidoodle update is better than the infamous August 17 update).

Especially if you ordered in July, I believe that this time they are accurate. They almost finished with the June orders, so it shouldn't be long before they start processing yours (and mine). Plus, the average waiting time for everybody has been around 20 weeks so far, once you hit that goal, you can be assured that your printer is underway. I think you won't have much time, but probably enough to print a few Christmas presents.
