Topic: SD3 Extruder fan runs when only connected to USB

has anyone else noticed the fan running when only the USB is plugged in?  it's not running at full speed but its running.  Is this normal.  Should I always unplug my USB when the printer is not plugged in?

Mine does it to, don't seem right to me but??

It is back feeding through the onboard voltage regulator. It won't hurt anything.
