Topic: Some stuff I want to try after I finish my 100+ todo list

Idea 1. I dont own a filament extruder and have no idea where i can buy the ingredient glycerin. But has anyone tried something similar to what the guy in this video is doing and then printing with it?

Idea 2. Attatch a soldering iron with a hollow tip to the printer.

Idea 3. Make a extruder with 12 colors and 1 stepper using a system similar to a revolver http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cylinder_(firearms))

Idea 4. Using a nema 17 stepper and a leap motion to 3d scan. At the moment i'm having trouble understanding how the thing works.

Idea 5 Glass grill as a heated bed

Glycerin is easy to source... just find someone who makes biodiesel they will have plenty as it is a byproduct or you can find it on ebay.
