Topic: Possible design tip
I am just a rookie but it seems to me that one little problem is getting a printed part off the bed. Some are really stuck tight. You have to be careful you don't bend the bend or arm enough to take it out if alignment and watch that you don't scratch the bed or its coating.
So, depending on what type of part you are making, perhaps it makes sense to design a small "thumbnail cove" shaped like a coin slot, into the part on the first few layers so you can get a little plastic pry tool into it to pop the part off the bed.
On things like printer parts or other utility gadgets, it may be fine although some more artistic creations might not look right with a mystery notch cut into the side.
