Topic: Prusa Mendel X-Axis Slipping

Hello, I'm currently trying to print a calibration cube with my prusa mendel V1 and after it completes a couple of layers the Extruder will slide quickly to the right and continue to layer but this time starting in the middle of the cube and layering the other half on top of the bed. This will continue to happen if I let it to continue to print where I'll have 4 base layers of cubes overlapping each other starting in the middle. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, Thank you!

Sounds like belt tension or overheat of the stepper.  Check both of these.

Thank you for your response. I ended up tightening the belt and it works fine now.
